 altho autumn is probably my favorite season... i really do love them all! & i love fresh snow! took a trip out yesterday to see the beauty of nature in all the fresh snow cover. had an opportunity to see the eagles & deer, as well as the fluffy stuff covering the whole of it, & totally changing the look of things. peaceful in the muffled sounds & the brisk crispness of the air. hope you'll enjoy as well! yule is nearly upon us, & i am hoping there will be snow to go along with that gorgous full moon on the 25th.  i spent some time out at the back end of the property hiking around in the woods /"my woods" ....i had not been back there for awhile, & today offered a perfect opportunity to get out, hike about, & see what i could see. today's focus seemed to be on the small details, & not so much the over all view.... the colors & textures always catch my eye... & this season as with all of them offers it's unique smell. the water drops were quite sparkly & added to the perspective. & oh i wish i could share the sound of the wind in the pine trees... i really do love that sound!! the river is up & offered it's own beautiful melody~~ there has been alot of turkey activity at the back end, a couple weeks back, Mike & i watched as a flock of 40+ moved across the field... pretty amazing site to see, there is one distinctive hen who has a lot of white feathers... she always stands out in the crowd. all in all a good day! a good hike! good time in the back wood! |
