the lone chair series

the lone chair
how often in life do we feel alone?
how often do we require alone time?
how often do we wish for the quietude
that comes from being alone
with our own self?
as a part time hermit,
i often choose to be alone
altho i love my fellow humans
& hold a space of loving wholeness
for them, i do enjoy my alone times.
& i love my times in nature, which
i often visit on my own.
it's quiet & peacefull,
& i can communicate
with nature in my own ways!
the idea/inspiration
for the lone chair series came to me
on one of my many nature excursions.
the thought of placing the chair in some of my favorite earthspaces on the property,
had my imagination glowing!!
how unexpected to come upon
an antique chair
(perhaps the equivalent
of the ancient wise sage)
oh the stories that chair could tell us!
