& as if by magic...oh of course it's always all magic!!!
an extra day appears in the lone month,
that lacks the 31 days or even the 30 days....
a magic day that leaps so bold into the smallest month every 4th year....
& behold it is the 29th day of Feb-r-uary...ta dah~~
"leaplings" celebrate,,,,,, for no matter how old they become,they will always be younger then those around them
Frogs,rabbits,kangaroos,goats, jack-in-the-boxes,jackrabbits.lizards,
jumping jacks, & jackalopes....& leaping sheep
those leaps that end in fallen heaps...
oh & yes the Jack who jumps the candle sticks...
Ahhhh the lovers leap....that tend to lead to
bouncing balls & bouncing babies...
jugglers & trampoline artists...the entertaining leaps
so here's to the beepers,deepers keepers,
& sure even the one eyed peepers....
& yes of course most specially the leapers!!!
enjoy this extra special magically appearing "day of leaps"....
leap for joy, leap for love, leap for play,& leap for the day.....
by leaps and bounds,leap in the dark & the giant leap of faith
& please avoid the dreaded leap to conclusions....
