So much change has taken place & I have been in the midst of it. Living & loving to my best. Teaching HS Art has kept me busy., to say the least! And::::::> An extremely interesting occupation during the "covid" ordeal. The past 2 summers I also had my hands full with my young grandson. All good experiences for growth for sure. So many ideas for my art & creativity formulating in my head!!! I will ALWAYS be grateful for my imagination & creative ideas!!!! I now have my own personal Art Studio Space, took a while to get my "stuff" out of storage & moved into the new space, I'm honestly still in process of organizing, however, it is so wonderful to have everything in one space all together & easy to access.... bit of decorating.... & Several projects in the works. It's kinda a dream come true for me!!! There is a lot to catch up with, however going with the flow! Today is a me day..... a personal creative day. I am also hoping I can get back to my website & promote my own work & creativity thru this place. I've been making & selling "Suncatchers" made from mostly vintage chandelier crystals I've found at estate sales... & bead & vintage buttons... this has been a relaxing enjoyable creative outlet for me. warmest hugs of love, joy & goodness~ earthdeva/molly

Footnotes on the path of life….
2019 is nearing completion… so early this morning i took the opportunity to 'review' my experiences from this time frame… & in the midst of doing this flashed back even further back to the 90's when I began using the computer, my son Lucas showed me how. It was; how to "work it" all new & exciting & a bit overwhelming… & such an adventure! I knew it was a tool to answer questions & I had so many! I discovered a few spiritual sites, one in particular, it allowed an individual to share their story, I thought I was doing it anonymously… sending my words out to cyberspace, kinda like a prayer, between me & Creator Source ... I laugh now, realizing what one puts on the internet is always there, visible for ANY one to read or see…. I remember being so open in my sharing, allowing myself to be vulnerable… i was shocked when someone “commented” on my writing… I automatically shut down for a while ,it honestly frightened me! … course I opened again, made some VERY dear friends along the way; many who, altho we have never met in the flesh,it matters not; for the experience of our sharing so openly back & forth created a bond between us that we share to this day! There was a time I journaled daily to rid myself of the monsters in my head… interestingly since joining social media, & sharing my stories, art, photos on~line… the monsters rarely bother me, & I find I journal in a different way these days. I realize we each use social media in our own ways, for our own reasons, personally I realized/decided it was a wonderful opportunity to share & hold a space of love & joy, peace & harmony, a beautifull way to send healing to wherever, to whomever may require or except it!!! And a way to To share my creativity….& so that is what I do!!! this morning I pause, so many of my fb land friends & family have crossed over, I will miss their presence, & yet the connection is still there. Life is interesting for sure! So much change!! I know this past year of 2019 I have taken the opportunity to follow more fully my creativity, the voice of my heart & soul is ART, my path has taken me many different places, no regrets as the experiences have been healing & interesting & mostly rewarding in the sense they have made me more of myself!!! This morning I took some time to re~visit many of the photos I shared during 2019 on my FB page It was interesting to see all the photos I had shared, mostly my art, & nature photos. Technology is pretty amazing for sure… a way to catalog our lives, to review at a later date...my website & blogs keep track of it all as well (although I noted I did not share there as much as in the past, something to ponder for sure!)… these days I rarely care who sees what… I am who I am! No hiding, not from myself, not from anyone! Symbolically, of course the years are just a way our society marks the passing of time, the flows & rhythms, the seasons, the cycles, the wheel spins ever on!! So blessings to 2019 thank you for being present everyday! thank you for all the opportunities you offered..… thank you for the gifts & blessings you brought in, thank you for some really amazing memories.... thank you for the lessons of growth & healing as well.…i am grateful for your companionship~ there were some heavy things that took place, most importantly the dark places were lit up with light, much exposed! many years ago,(in the 70's) i started wishing my friends happy holidays, because they were of different faiths, & i felt by doing so, it was a way of acknowledging their personal holy days, since there are so many during this time of year... now it seems to have become a "bad" thing to wish folks happy holidays... the winter season is full of so many holy days... the shifting circle goes round & round...in the northern hemisphere we have turned to the winter solstice... a time of celebrating the return of the sun, which brings life to our planet & nature as well as humanity... the return is celebrated by fires & candles... & being joyful!! merry making... dancing feet & singing hearts & voices... the promise of hope for all our tomorrows... somewhere along the way, the ideas of differences being right or wrong, or good or bad have become a way of life, & so prominent in some folks very way of being they feel the need to push their ideas on to others.... which is so sad... our differences make us unique.. & special, each in our very own way... shared or common practices, traditions, rituals... are not about rights & wrongs.... they are just that;shared ideas... & main theme this time of year is about celebrating & joy... being with friends,family & those we love.... & how we choose to do this, what we choose to call this is very personal.... all our days are meant to be holy... all our days offer us an opportunity to celebrate life... moving beyond the ideas of right & wrongs, mine or theirs... moving beyond what is shoved down folks throats by commercial consumerism... coming back to the heart... coming back to a heart open to love coming back to a peaceful heart... coming back to extending that to ALL those around us.. coming back to a slower pace of the winter season... thoughtful reflections, & the creating of hopes for tomorrows.... the warmth of hearth & home the circle of family whether the bond is blood or friendship... this is my practice, this makes my holy days... & my days holy! so to you & yours... how ever you are celebrating the winter season & ALL it's MANY holy days...... may you be blessed beyond your wildest imaginings... may you know goodness & love... may your life flow with joy ease & grace.... holy day hugs.... earthdeva/molly  Spent some time working with the kids on "Cubism"
Did this as an example to show them.  I am so very gratefull to the Local Grandmother's Club for their very generous donation towards much needed art supplies & materials!!!!!! Opportunities & pure potential…. They are present everyday in every way… yet often they are hidden, unseen, or perhaps it is simply we are not paying attention, we are not fully aware, we are totally distracted...we are living our lives in the past or perhaps it is the future & not the NOW moment…. The moments of Now are always here, always available!! Yet do we really truly live them??? New Moon energies are always offering opportunities to plant new seeds, new growth… new ideas, inspiration! So here we are we experienced an awesome New Moon… & then tomorrow is a new day, & a new month. October is the beginning of a bright shinny brand new, dynamic, potent energetic cycle!! October offers potentials for all of us to journey away from the negativity that has been cluttering/polluting/fouling up our lives & redirect us, guide us into a clear, open & unique fruitful pathway!! & yes what ever pathways we are offered, the choice is always ours… however, gentle reminder… insure you are in a clear head space when making choices, any choices! no distractions, no manipulations, avoid the crowds or herd mentality… detach from the 'system, & avoid being swallowed by the 'norm'. Insure you are personally grounded, centered as well as aligned in the present NOW moment! Breathe deeply into the Now moment! Feel the clarity & freshness of being awake in the NOW. Some folks feel the pulse, pull, current, flow of the New moon energies stronger then others, yet we all are capable of sensing these energies. Sense the waves & gentle breezes blowing through your beings, encouraging one to move ever forward on our journey… let go of the toxic, remove yourself from the crowded trenches of sludge that only keeps us stuck in the rut of the muck & mire… let it go. Awaken with the offerings of this recent New Moon… the Dark moon, the “black moon” & then step fully into the light of new possibilities, new potentials, new beginnings. May you always be blessed!! May you always be Balanced. May you always be Clear. May you always know Love! Hugs, earthdeva/molly  Did this Sunday to share lines & shading techniques With my Art classes MONDAY. Autumn leaves. Pen & colored pencils. 18X24 So it is on the path of life i find myself completing the end of my 2nd week as a High School Art Teacher!!! The experience has been interesting to say the least! Altho i had applied for this position a while back, someone else had been hired. Interestingly This go around; the school contacted me!!! So this part of my journey started 9-16-2019. The school is under construction... so i have a traveling "ArtCart", materials were in storage, i have one class on the 1st floor, & a 2nd class on the 2nd floor, so the "ArtCart" & i get to use the elevator.... which is often an obstacle course!! needless to say,i'm getting a good workout!!! oh & the kids...the typical mix... (yes there are still "cliques") most of them{gratefully) want to be there, & even tho some are there for the credit, they also seem interested. i found out after the fact several folks at the school had recommended me for the position, there was even community support, as the school had folks stop by to encourage me being hired. so me being me, i am doing my best to see what their individual skill level is, what their interest is, what they know in regards to the art world. I am unsure when the Art Unit will be complete.... so currently using the materials i have located, would love to do more with them, yet with out a sink or water, i am a bit limited to what we work on. so it's the "basics" the foundational info. I surprised them with a TEST on Wednesday this past week, i allowed them to use some informational handouts.... I was pleased with their answers!!! below are 2 of the sketches i did for them to look at... answering what are the> Art Elements, Principles, Composition,Style. and so it goes... My Gallery Show continues through the end of October.
