On January 20th i hosted a reception for my 1st ever SOLO Art Show!l
Pretty exciting for me! i live in a small rural community that has an amazing Gallery space connected to the local Library! It is a beautiful space. i spent several days hanging my creative work; My Art, pen & inks as well as paintings & assemblage art, photography, & my handcrafted papers made from plant materials, most of which i gathered while on my hikes on the property. I was overwhelmed with joy & gratitude at the turnout, which was over 200 folks, several who traveled from towns in the surrounding area. i must say it was an amazing feeling, hearing the comments & compliments on my work! & to top it off i sold 6 pieces that night!! My show runs till March 31st. #artistiam !!! Art has always been the voice of my heart & soul!! Being creative nurtures me, & i am so gratifull to be doing what i love!! i enjoyed doing the landscape, & i love my trees & nature, however i am needing to do my art, & so i am, & i am thankful for such a smooth flow & transition!! i just delivered Portal Painting #5 to a show in a near by town. the theme of the show is "the museum of missing" & so this particular Portal is known as the Portal of Missing Pieces. It looks like a fun show! looks like the month of April i will have my work displayed in 2 different locations, which i am very excited about!! So many ideas & inspirations i have to create into art pieces!! I have always felt/believed when we follow our heart, when we do what we truly love, the Universe & Creator Source will open doors & blessings will pour in!! I am seeing & experiencing this in my life!! it's all such Goodness!!! wish everyone could visit my show!! hugs, earthdeva/molly

In my 60+ odd years of waking up each day, my best & favorite are early morning, often while still dark, love to watch the dark & light trade places. Love the stillness, I much prefer taking my time, I had my share of too rushed, hurryup,gotta gotta go mornings, I enjoy taking my time easing into the day, like the light does, Eases into the dark, finding the right pace, finding my place, finding the flow of energy that suits me myself & I. I find my whole day goes smoother when I follow this natural rhythm.
I Love this time I take, blessing the birth of the day, it has become such a gift! Grateful for my life & so many many blessings! To the west there is a line between pink & a violet blue in the sky settled in the midst of some rolling Palouse hills that made my heart smile when I saw it. Today I start hanging my art show. crossed peacefully in his sleep he lived a good & long life!!! i went to see him Thursday, when i came in his room i knew he would be leaving soon. knew he was in transition, i sat down beside his bed & my tears started flowing, i held his hand * he placed my hand upon his heart, and place his over mine! Love him so much, & as beautiful as he was it was a challenge, i knew i would most likely not be holding his hand again. he let me give him some water with a little sponge, most of it dribbled out of the side of his mouth, i wiped it up & he winked at me like he always did, & then gave me a thumbs up! I felt so honored & humbled as well in that moment. we were going back to see him this morning, that was the plan. he was ready to leave, ready to be with his beloved. and so he did. i met him when i moved to this little town in '84 he was ALWAYS good to me! always encouraged me. always complemented me on my "great outfits" loved it when i wore a hat. he was a great supporter of this community. i am beyond gratefull for his friendship & love i am thankful for his advice & for knowing him! fly free my friend! |
